- Why work at a veterinary clinic?
Well, I married a veterinarian! I also had an interest in medicine before our marriage.
- Are you a pet owner?
Yes, my white Pyrenees, Gracie, stole my heart when I saw her with an injured leg, and I adopted her.
- What do you do outside of the clinic?
I really enjoy doing yard work, and I’m very involved in heritage work as a member of the UDC (United Daughters of the Confederacy). I also get to spend lots of quality time with my nine grandchildren as I work with them on C of C projects and activities (Children of the Confederacy). When time permits, I enjoy home-making.
- What's your favorite part about working in Simpsonville?
I know so many of the people here, and feel an active part of the community.
- If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I really want to visit Scotland again because I’ve been there one time and fell in the love with the homey atmosphere of that place.
