New Annual Comprehensive Canine Wellness Bundle!
We wanted to make our clients aware of a new wellness bundle we are now offering for our doggie patients. This Annual Comprehensive Canine Wellness consists of an adult wellness bloodwork panel, which checks your pet’s internal organ function and includes a heartworm test. Also, this bundle contains an intestinal parasite exam (fecal exam), and all 4 vaccines for a dog: rabies, the distemper/parvo combination vaccine, the bordetella vaccine, and the lepto vaccine. So how much does this bundle cost?
We are happy to announce that we will be offering at-home Convenience and Hospice Care beginning April 1. We have sensed a real need in our area after many conversations with current clients and other members of our community who are seeking this type of service. What does this service potentially mean for you?
Having practiced veterinary medicine for over 40 years, it is interesting to see how societal trends impact my profession. One thing I have noticed is a change in the kinds of cases I now see. When I first started practicing vet medicine, I was treating the majority of my patients for internal and external parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, etc.), which was a huge problem back then. Now that we have so many great products to treat parasites effectively, I have noticed that the vast majority of cases relate to obesity and the health issues that flow from it, in both dogs and cats.
